Funding challenges eased up for NBFCs, key issue now is growth, says JPMorgan’s Saurabh Kumar
Restructuring could be at 6-7 percent at industry level for banks, said Saurabh Kumar, research-banking at JPMorgan. Kumar, speaking from the sidelines of JPMorgan India Investor Summit, said that the funding challenges have eased up for NBFCs and the key issue now is growth.
According to him, slippages will be 2-3 percent, restructuring will be at 6-7 percent and gross NPAs could be at 10-11 percent for the sector.
