Central Bank of India CEO MV Rao designated as Chairman of Indian Banks' Association

The Managing Committee of the IBA has appointed Madhav Nair, Country Head and CEO of Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, as the Honorary Secretary, as per a release.

Central Bank of India CEO MV Rao designated as Chairman of Indian Banks' Association
Managing Director and CEO of the Central Bank of India, MV Rao, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) for the 2023–24 term. The decision was taken by the Managing Committee of the IBA in a meeting on Thursday, March 21. 

The committee has also appointed three Deputy Chairmen of the association. These deputies are the Chairman of the State Bank of India, Dinesh Kumar Khara; the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Indian Bank; and the MD and CEO of City Union Bank, Dr N Kamakodi.
Additionally, Madhav Nair, Country Head and CEO of Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, has been designated as the Honorary Secretary of the IBA., as per a release.
