Both the broking and Asset Management Company (AMC) business are scalable business and are dependent on markets but the outlook for both remains to be strong, said Raamdeo Agrawal, Co-Founder, Motilal Oswal Financial Services.
With regards to housing finance business, he said the expectation is that non-performing loans will rise in first half of FY19 but stabilise from second half.
The year on year fourth quarter housing finance business reported a loss of Rs 5.6 crore versus profit of Rs 28.6 crore.
FY19 will be a good year for the investment banking business, he added.
