Several areas in Bengaluru grappled with traffic disruptions due to waterlogged roads after heavy rain lashed the city on Monday. Heavy rains on Monday evening caused extensive waterlogging on roads leading to traffic snarl in many areas.
Many commuters were stranded on roads and traffic came to a standstill in Shantinagar, Malleswaram, Mysore Bank, and Town Hall, among others due to flooded roads and submerged underpasses after torrential rain.
Karnataka Traffic Police shared a video showing the slow-moving traffic and waterlogged streets, on the social media platform X.
