North India continues to grapple under cold wave; several flights delayed
The national capital continues to grapple with the cold wave conditions on Monday, January 22. Several flights were delayed due to low visibility at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The mercury has dipped to 7 degrees Celsius.
In a video shared by news agency ANI on X, aircraft are waiting in queue for the conditions to get better.
According to the airport’s official website, as many as 150 flights have been delayed while at least six flights have been cancelled. Major delays and cancellations of flights have been the result of low visibility. According to IMD, Delhi’s Palam and Safdarjung recorded the visibility at 500 metres on Monday morning.
On Sunday, the national capital region recorded a minimum temperature of 8.6 degrees Celsius.
As many as 11 Delhi-bound trains were delayed on Sunday due to the foggy weather.
