Meanwhile, the Bombay High Court on Monday halted all construction works in the city and restricted the bursting of firecrackers until Diwali day. The residents of the city are allowed to burst firecrackers only between 7 pm to 10 pm. The HC directive will be applicable to the entire Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) region. The Bombay High Court has also restricted the movements of vehicles carrying the construction material, reported Indian Express.
