Here's IMD's weather forecast for India till September 18
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted active monsoon conditions over East India for Thursday (September 14) and Friday (September 15); over central India between September 14 and 17 and West India during September 15 to 18. The weather department said there's "a well marked low pressure area over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha-West Bengal coasts".

Heavy rainfall lashed parts of Odisha, Telangana, East Madhya Pradesh, Jammu Division, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Vidarbha, the IMD said. Moreover, the IMD issued a red alert in Odisha, predicting heavy rainfall in Nuapara, kalahandi, Baragarh, Balangir and Sambalpur on Thursday, September 18. An orange alert was issued in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Jharsuguda and Bauda among other regions.

East India: Light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall are very likely over Odisha on September 14, 15 and 18; Jharkhand on September 14 and 15; over Gangetic West Bengal on September 14 and over Andaman and Nicobar Islands during September 14-18. Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is also very likely over Odisha on September 14.
Central India: Light to moderate rainfall is very likely over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha during September 14-17 and Chhattisgarh during September 14-16. Isolated very heavy rainfall is also likely to occur over Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh on September 14 and 15; West Madhya Pradesh during September 15-17; Vidarbha on September 15 and 16 September.
Northwest India: Light to moderate with isolated heavy falls are very likely to occur over Uttarakhand during September 14-16; Jammu division on September 14; southwest Uttar Pradesh on September 15 and East Rajasthan during September 14-17; isolated very heavy rainfall is also very likely over East Rajasthan on September 16.
South India: Light to moderate rainfall with isolated heavy rainfall very likely to occur over Telangana on September 14 and 15 and Kerala on September 14. Isolated very heavy rainfall might lash Telangana on September 14.
West India: Light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall/thunderstorm and lightning with isolated heavy rainfall very likely over Konkan and Goa, ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra during September 15-18 and Marathwada during September 14-17; Gujarat Region during September 16-18 and Saurashtra on September 17 and 18. Isolated very heavy rainfall very likely over Konkan and Goa, ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat Region during September 16-18 and Marathwada on September 16.
Northeast India: Light/moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall/thunderstorm with isolated heavy rainfall activity very likely over Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on September 14.
