A music video showcasing a Garba song written by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was released on Saturday, ahead of the Navratri festival, which commences on Sunday. The Prime Minister penned this 190-second song a few years ago, and he shared it on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Titled ‘Garbo,’ the song features the voice of Dhvani Bhanushali and the musical composition of Tanishk Bagchi. It was released under the Jjust Music label, which was founded by actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani.

Singer Dhvani Bhanushali, who gained widespread recognition for her 2019 single Vaaste, expressed her excitement over her latest song. The singer said that she and Tanishk Bagchi “wanted to make a song with fresh rhythm.”
In response to the post, PM Modi expressed his gratitude, thanking the singer, Jjust Music label and the whole team. PM Modi also stated that he has penned another Garba song which he will share during Navratri.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut showered praise on the song and PM Modi, calling it beautiful and inspiring.
India Today reported that actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani expressed immense pride and joy about being involved in a musical project with PM Modi. According to Bhagnani, Garbo serves as a tribute to India’s cultural heritage and the essence of Navratri, showcasing the binding strength of music. He sees the project as an exceptional and humbling experience, expressing confidence that Garbo will become a significant part of Navratri celebrations for years to come.
Navratri, translating to ‘nine nights,’ is a Hindu festival venerating Durga, represented in her nine forms, ranging from the fierce Kaalratri to the creator Kushmanda. Celebrated uniquely across various Indian regions, in Gujarat, it involves nine nights of dancing as a form of worship. This year, Navratri festivities start on October 15 and end on October 24.
