Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, who will next be seen in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, are currently busy promoting their film. As part of the promotions, the two stars arrived at an event in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on Monday, February 26. The duo performed live stunts for the attendees at the famous Ghanta Ghar (clock tower) near Rumi Gate.
However, the situation soon turned chaotic after the crowd shoved and pushed each other, forcing police to lathi-charge. Not only that, people hurled stones and slippers at each other and disrupted the event. The police had to lathi-charge to disperse the unruly crowd.
Following the disruption, several video clips began circulating on social media platforms. Sharing a glimpse from the promotional event in Lucknow, news agency ANI posted on X and wrote, “Ruckus erupted at the promotion event of the film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan featuring actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in UP's Lucknow today.”

Another video shared by an X user showed the UP police lathi-charging the crowd.

A Hindustan Times report claimed that a few people were injured in the incident, but the police refuted such claims. Meanwhile, a PR representative linked with the promotional event mentioned that the crowd became uncontrollable and hard to manage after the stars started throwing their movie’s merchandise toward the attendees, reported News18.
Slated to release in theatres on Eid, April 9, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is an action-packed film. It features Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F in crucial roles.
