Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon-starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya had a good start at the box office and minted ₹6.70 crore on the first day of its release. Directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah, the film hit screens around the world on Friday, February 9. It saw an overall occupancy of 14.92% on its first day, according to sacnilk.com.
Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya witnessed an occupancy of 8.80% in the morning shows and saw a jump towards the evening and night shows where it recorded an occupancy of 13.62% and 25.46% respectively. Besides Shahid and Kriti, the film also features Dharmendra, Dimple Kapadia, and Rakesh Bedi.
The film had an overall occupancy of 17.25% and had 849 shows in Mumbai, while in the National Capital Region (NCR), it had 1,125 shows and saw an occupancy of 13.75%. Meanwhile, the film has collected ₹14.04 crore worldwide on the first day, according to the makers.

It stars Shahid as a robotic scientist who eventually falls in love with Kriti’s character, an intelligent female robot, SIFRA, which stands for 'Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation'.
The trailer of the film was released a few weeks ago by the makers and has received over 4.8 crore views on video video-sharing site YouTube.
Shahid Kapoor's last theatrical release was Jersey in 2022, while Kriti Sanon appeared in films like Ganapath and Om Raut’s Adipurush.
Film critic Taran Adarsh said Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya is expected to witness growth on Saturday, with national chains taking the business forward.

Trade analyst Sumit Kadel said the film is witnessing a "50-60% growth in morning shows" on Saturday.
