Kangana Ranaut’s highly anticipated Tejas was released today on the big screen across the country. Directed and written by Sarvesh Mewara, the action drama has opened to a positive response at the box office with Kangana Ranaut fans lauding the actress for her performance in the film.
Though the movie received positive reviews from audiences and critics, many also pointed out several reasons for not liking Tejas on their social media posts.
While rating the film Tejas 3.5 out of 5, film trade analyst and critic Ramesh Bala wrote, “Kangana Ranaut is here to win your hearts and touch the chord of patriotism in you! Tejas is a thrilling experience and has an amazing performance by Kangana Ranaut. Excellent Production value by RSVP.”
Another X user tweeted, “Honestly apart from being a fan of Kangana Tejas is a brilliant movie to watch for the real action of our Fighter plane. Kangana is awesome as Tejas Gill and in the last scene of Shri Ram Mandir Inauguration and the chanting of Jai Shri Ram. A must-watch of Emotion and Action.”

A second X user was seen to praise Kangana Ranaut for doing a great job in Tejas. He tweeted, “Gave A Powerful Massage. Patriotism Has Also Been Shown Very Well. Action & Emotions Are Beautiful. The Screenplay is a little Slow but Overall It Is A Good Movie."
On the other hand, a third user reviewed the movie to be an average film.
“Tejas has a Poor VFX, poor screenplay, average execution & illogical scenes. The Acting of Kangana is good. Another average film by Kangana Ranaut,” read the comment.

However, on the official launch of the trailer, viewers were seen to praise the movie and especially Kangana Ranaut for bringing such a story forward. The movie revolves around an Air Force pilot, Tejas Gill, who aspires to inculcate a profound sense of pride in Indians. The movie highlights the dedication of Indian Air Force pilots who safeguard the nation’s territory despite all the challenges.
Apart from Kangana, the movie features Anshul Chauhan, Varun Mitra, Ashish Vidyarthi and Vishak Nair. among others.
