Sidhu Moosewala's mother pregnant, expecting a child soon: Reports

Family sources told the national daily that the delivery was expected soon.

Moosewala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, by assailants in his car in the Jawaharke village of Punjab's Mansa district. The famous singer had unsuccessfully contested the Punjab Assembly elections that year from the Mansa seat on a Congress ticket. He lost the elections to Vijay Singla of the Aam Aadmi Party, which registered a landslide victory in the 2022 Punjab elections.

As per reports, around 31 accused, including gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, have been named in the Moosewala’s murder case so far, while investigating agencies have arrested 25 people.

Considered one of the wealthiest Punjabi singers, Moosewala used to write and produce his own songs and had a huge fan following, especially among the youth. After his murder, several of his songs have been released and have got millions of hits across different platforms, including YouTube.

This comes after there were speculations regarding Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh planning to contest the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections from the Bathinda seat. However, Singh himself later clarified that nothing would change even if he entered politics.

Sidhu Moosewala forayed into the music industry back in 2017 when he released his first single G Wagon. Soon after, he made a name for himself in the entertainment industry and received love and admiration for his music. Some of his prominent hits include Legend, So High and The Last Ride.
