National Award-winning singer Shreya Ghoshal is celebrating her 40th birthday today. She made her debut as a playback singer way back in 2002 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Devdas. Over the last two decades, Shreya has captivated us all with her beautiful voice, singing over 3,000 songs so far.

Born on March 12, 1984, in a Bengali family in Murshidabad, West Bengal, she started singing at a young age. According to reports, Shreya’s first studio album was released in 1998, titled Bendhecchi Beena. However, her first major break as a playback singer came after she won the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2000.
