‘Sam Bahadur’ Advance Booking: Vicky Kaushal film inches closer to ₹1.5 crore

As per the region wise advance booking figures of ‘Sam Bahadur’, Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) garnered ₹36.92 lakh while Mumbai earned ₹18.86 lakh and Bengaluru ₹14.21 lakh.

‘Sam Bahadur’ Advance Booking: Vicky Kaushal film inches closer to ₹1.5 crore
Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur is all set to release on the big screen on Friday, December 1. Ahead of the grand release, the advance ticket booking figures of Sam Bahadur indicate enthusiasm among the audiences about this biographical drama.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk.com, the movie has garnered ₹1.24 crore in advance booking. Additionally, the total number of tickets sold stands at 38,556 as of Wednesday, November 29. According to Sacnilk, a total of 2,509 shows have been scheduled across the country for the movie.
As per the region-wise advance booking figures of Sam Bahadur, Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) garnered ₹36.92 lakh while Mumbai earned ₹18.86 lakh and Bengaluru ₹14.21 lakh.
On the other hand, the highest occupancy for the film has been recorded in Tripura at 34% while Tamil Nadu stood in second place with 17% of occupancy.
Meghna Gulzar helmed Sam Bahadur is based on the biography of the former Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army, Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw.
The film showcases the life of Manekshaw during the time of the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.
The film has been backed by RSVP Movies. The biopic features Vicky Kaushal, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Zeeshan Ayyub, and Neeraj Kabi, in the lead roles.
The movie is releasing on Friday, December 1, and it is expected to clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s action-thriller Animal.
Amid the speculations over the box office clash with Animal, at a recent promotional event Vicky Kaushal responded to the comparison of his movie with the Ranbir Kapoor starrer, “In today’s time, we as an industry should give the option of multiple films on the same day to the audience. That is how we will flourish as an industry.”
He further added, “We have those many weeks in a year, but as an industry, we cannot limit ourselves to make that many films only.”
According to the Sacnilk data, Sandeep Reddy Vanga helmed Animal has grossed close to ₹14 crore in advance booking so far.
