Salaar box office collection Day 4: Prabhas starrer surpasses ₹250 crore mark in India

As per industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire’ garnered around ₹45.77 crore on its first Monday at domestic box office.

Prabhas starrer Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire has been performing well at the box office since its release on Friday, December 22. Despite the strong competition with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki at the box office, Salaar minted around ₹45.77 crore on its first Monday, as per industry tracker Sacnilk.com.

According to the detailed collection report, the total collection of ₹45.77 crore includes ₹27.01 crore in the Telugu belt and ₹1.3 crore in Malayalam. The box office collections for Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi languages stood at ₹2.1 crore, ₹86 lakh, and ₹14.5 crore, respectively.
The Prashanth Neel directorial has surpassed the ₹250 crore mark in India on its fourth day. The movie is approaching ₹450 crore gross collection worldwide, according to an Indian Express report.
The primary market of the Salaar has been Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Telugu version of the film witnessed an overall occupancy of 63% on Monday, December 25. On the other hand, the film recorded 34% occupancy in Malayalam, 23% in Tamil, 35% in Hindi and 45% in Kannada.
Meanwhile, film analyst Manobala Vijaybalan shared the total number of tickets sold in the national chains on the occasion of Christmas.
“Salaar has SOLD a WHOPPING 11,78,609 tickets from 10293 shows with 42.07% occupancy. National Chains PVR - 1,51,711 - ₹ 5.74 cr, INOX - 1,06,050 - ₹ 3.75 cr, Cinepolis - 59,285 - ₹ 2.19 cr. All Theatres Total - ₹ 28.06 cr,” Vijaybalan tweeted.
Meanwhile, the prime distributor of the film, Prathyangira Cinemas wrote on X, “The gross for today has already crossed $640K+ and counting Rebel Prabhas is fuelling Box Office fireworks… leaving everyone astonished.”
Produced under the banner of Hombale Films, Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire was previously scheduled to be released on September 28 before being pushed to December 22. Besides Prabhas, the film features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Madhu Guruswamy in crucial roles.
