Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, starring Prabhas in the lead, wreaked havoc at the box office and minted ₹95 crore on its opening day on Friday across all languages.
Helmed by K.G.F fame director Prashanth Neel, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire was released in five languages -- Hindi, Telugu, English, Tamil, and Kannada -- across the country.
As per early estimates, the film collected ₹175 crore at the worldwide box office, reports said.

According to sacnilk.com, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire saw an overall occupancy of 88.93% in Telugu on Friday. In Hyderabad, the film had 1104 shows and saw an occupancy of 99%. It had 796 shows in Bengaluru and had an occupancy of 76.75%.
The film earned ₹70 crore in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regions and performed well in Karnataka and Kerala, where it minted ₹12 crore and ₹5 crore, respectively.
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire clashed with Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki at the box office, The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer comedy-drama was released worldwide on Thursday (December 21).
With a collection of ₹95 crores on its opening day, the Prabhas-starrer has now left behind Shah Rukh's Pathaan and Jawan, and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal to become the biggest opener of 2023 in the Indian cinema.
Pathaan earned ₹57 crores on its first day, while Jawan and Animal reported opening of ₹75 crores and ₹63 crores, respectively at the domestic box office.
Besides Prabhas, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had given an ‘A’ certificate to the film with a run time of 2 hours and 55 minutes.
According to reports, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is expected to break several box office records in India in its opening weekend.
