Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram seek blessings at Imphal temple ahead of wedding

Talking to the news agency PTI, the Highway actor said, “I pray for a happy future, peace for Manipur and everywhere in the world, a happy married life and many more things. I hope I get them.”

Responding to a question about the Bollywood celebrities attending the wedding ceremony, Randeep said, “It’s just me.”

The soon-to-be-married couple also visited the Shri Govindaji temple to offer prayers.

On Saturday, November 25, the couple took to their Instagram handle to announce the news of their wedding.

“Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjun married Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, we are getting married with the blessings of our families and friends,” the post read.

The note further added, “We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29 November 2023, Imphal, Manipur, followed by a reception in Mumbai. As we set to embark on this journey, we seek your blessings and love for this union of cultures, for which we are forever indebted and grateful. In love and light, Lin and Randeep.”

Lin Laishram is a 37-year-old model, actress and businesswoman. She was born and brought up in Manipur but later moved to Mumbai. Lin completed his graduation from Sophia College for Women, Mumbai. The actress also studied at Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York, according to a Times of India report.

After completing her acting course in New York, Lin secured a cameo role in the movie Om Shanti Om starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. After the cameo role, Lin was spotted in a brief appearance in Priyanka Chopra’s Mary Kom. Besides, she has also worked in films like Umrika, Rangoon, Axone, and Jaane Jaan.

Apart from being a model and actress, Lin owns a jewellery brand, ‘Shamoo Sana’ and she is the managing director of the company.
