'Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire', featuring Prabhas in the lead, will release on Friday. The film will clash with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 'Dunki' at the box office.

Prabhas-starrer Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire looks all set to take the box office by storm when it hits screens on Friday (December 22).

According to sacnilk.com, the film has received huge advance booking numbers and collected ₹18.84 crore by selling 8,75,998 tickets across all languages.
During the Salaar craze, the Telangana government has granted permission to hold shows in theatres across the state as early as 1 am and 4 am on its opening weekend, The Times of India reported.
According to a notice, the government "after careful examination of the matter hereby permit to allow 6 show at 4.00 am on 22.12.2023 in Telangana State for Salaar movie and also a hike of rates by ₹65 and ₹100 for single screen and multiplexes respectively from 22.12.2023 to 28.12.2023 all across the State of Telangana.”
Also, the state government has granted the makers benefit show from 1 am onwards on Friday in a select few theatres.
Directed by 'K.G.F' fame Prashanth Neel, Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Hassan and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. Originally shot in Telugu, the mega-budget film will be released in multiple languages, including Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam.
According to reports, the servers of multiple booking sites crashed because of the excessive traffic from eager moviegoers trying to purchase their tickets in advance.
While talking about the film, director Prashanth Neel recently said, “Salaar is a story of two friends, who become the biggest enemies. Friendship is the core emotion of Salaar. We are telling half the story in Salaar: Part One - Ceasefire. We are going to show this journey of friends throughout two films.”
One of the biggest entertainers of 2023, Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire marks the first collaboration of Prashanth Neel and Baahubali star Prabhas. Upon its release, the film is expected to set new benchmarks, especially in South India.
Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire will clash with Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki at the box office. The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer is all set to hit screens across the country on Thursday (December 21).
