Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki and Prabhas' Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire registered their lowest single-day haul on Wednesday.

Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, earned ₹9.75 crore on the seventh day with an overall occupancy of 19.89% in India, according to sacnilk.com.
The film's total domestic box office collection has now reached ₹151.26 crore. It was released worldwide on December 21.
Dunki had an occupancy of 28.25% across 668 shows in Mumbai, while the occupancy was 17.50% at 894 shows in the National Capital Region.
Meanwhile, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, helmed by K.G.F fame director Prashanth Neel, hit screens around the world on Friday (December 22).
The film minted ₹17 crores on Wednesday, taking its net domestic collection to ₹297.40 crore. It saw an overall Telugu occupancy of 28.02%.
In Hyderabad, the film witnessed an occupancy of 36.25% across 698 shows, while it was 18.50% in Bengaluru (522 shows).
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has now surpassed the total collection of Prabhas' last film Adipurush, which raked in ₹288.15 crore nett in India.
According to the official handle of the film on social media site X, it has crossed the ₹500 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
Salaar: Part 1– Ceasefire also features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles. The story of the film revolves around two friends who can go to any extent to support each other. In the second part, the film will showcase how the two friends turn into bitter enemies.
On the other hand, Dunki has minted ₹283.13 crore at the box office globally, according to Red Chillies Entertainment.
Dunki, which is Shah Rukh's third film in 2023 after Pathaan and Jawan, also features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, and Boman Irani.
Co-written by Rajkumar Hirani, Abhijaat Joshi, and Kanika Dhillon, the film is based on an illegal immigration technique named 'donkey flight'.
Dunki and Salaar: Part 1–Ceasefire are expected to dominate the box office in India during the New Year weekend as no big release is slated for release on Friday.
