The release of Ekta R Kapoor’s highly anticipated drama, Love, Sex Aur Dhokha 2, has been delayed by a couple of months. The film was scheduled to hit the big screen on February 16, but will now be released on April 19.
Sharing the details on the revised release date, the official Instagram account of Balaji Motion Pictures shared a post and wrote, “Yeh Valentine's Day nahin aasaan, bas itna samajh lijiye, Love Sex Aur Dhokha ka dariya hai aur doob ke jaana hai! Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2 in cinemas 19th April.”
The post shared on Instagram and X, features a poster of the film. Fans complimented the poster, which features a human heart filled with all the icons of all social media platforms. It flashed the release day; in the background of the beating heart, one could hear the notification sounds of these apps.

Among many of the Instagram users complimenting the poster, one wrote, “WOW, the poster looks so damn amazing! Can’t wait for the movie.”
Another mentioned, “This looks so amazing and FAB! Eagerly waiting for the release.”
“A sequel we all have been waiting for!!! Too much fun!!,” read another comment.
As per the makers, Love, Sex aur Dhokha 2 will explore the complexities of relationships, unveiling the hidden facets of modern-day love in the era of the Internet.

Through a strong narrative, the film promises to dig deeper into the themes of love, betrayal, and the consequences of our technologically driven world, as per the official description. Love, Sex aur Dhokha 2 is directed by Dibakar Banerjee, while it is produced by Ektaa R Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures and Cult Movies.
The film is a sequel to the 2010 release Love, Sex Aur Dhokha. It then features Rajkumar Rao, Anshuman Jha, and Nushrratt Bharuccha. In the prequel, the movie showed three different but interrelated stories of honour killings, the MMS scandal, and a sting operation.
The star cast for the sequel is unknown.
