There are many people who have gone viral overnight through the social media empire—'Badam Kaku', aka Bhuban Badyakar, was one of them. The 'BadamBadamm, Kacha Badam' song made the musician Badyakar a social media sensation. But luck did not help him for long, as he had to pay heavily for a mistake.
A person who wanted their identity to remain undisclosed revealed that Bhuban signed a contract with a studio for songs recorded by him. According to the agreement with the studio, Bhuban will be paid 60% of the earnings of songs sung by him.
However, the studio did not pay him even a single penny on the pretext of copyright. This started the decline of Badyankar, who turned into nothing short of a beggar.
Until a year ago, Badam Kaku was the topic of discussion along with Ranu Mandal. Bhuban rose to the limelight after Kacha Badam went viral on social media. Following this, Badyakar’s home remained crowded with people, including media personnel.
This time, however, the tide of happiness has come back into the life of Kacha Badam fame. He has received several show offers in December 2023. Apart from this, even his son has gotten a job.
Bhuban Badyakar said that until 2021, he sold nuts on the streets while singing. And just then Bhuban fulfilled the wish of his customers to record the song that soon became viral on social media in no time in November 2021. Soon after the lyrics, 'Paayer Tura Haater Bala Thake Jodi, City Golder Chain Diye Jaaben' were on everyone's lips.
