Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is celebrating his 58th birthday and his fans could have not asked for more as the actor’s latest release Jawan is now streaming on OTT. The extended version of the blockbuster movie is now available on Netflix.
The surprise release of the extended version of Jawan is said to be a gesture of love from King Khan to his fans. Shah Rukh Khan has given two blockbuster hits this year -- Pathaan and Jawan. The actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Dunki, which is scheduled to hit theatres next month.
Sharing the arrival of Jawan, Netflix India posted a hilarious promo video of Shah Rukh Khan playing a fun yet villain character in the clip.

In the one minute and 22 seconds of promo, Shah Rukh was seen playfully threatening the platform to release the movie on OTT within the next two minutes, disrupting the original weekend release plans. Later after convincing the team, SRK delivers a dialogue from the movie in a unique style. Instead of a blast, a Happy Birthday banner is revealed, and he cuts the cake sharing, "Mere janamdin par aap sabke liye tofa”, for the viewers.
After the announcement of the film’s arrival on the OTT platform, many SRK fans were seen sending best wishes to the birthday boy and also showered excitement to watch the uncut version of Jawan.
One of the X users seemed to be saying, “Wow! King Khan with his extended version of #JawanOnNetflix. It's SRK Day and we fans have gotten the surprise really well. Thank you #ShahRukhKhan for this version of Jawan and yes, Happy Birthday SRK.”
Another fan was seen appreciating the efforts put together for the promo and wrote, “Oh my god what a promo.”

Jawan was released in theatres across the world on September 7 and turned out to be one of the highest-grossing movies of the year. The film grossed more than ₹ 1,100 crore worldwide. Additionally, it also witnessed the biggest opening day for any film in the history of Hindi cinema by garnering ₹ 129.06 crore worldwide.
Besides, Shah Rukh Khan has also unveiled the official teaser of his upcoming movie, Dunki today. The movie will be released worldwide on December 22. The Rajkumar Hirani-helmed film features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani and Dharmendra in pivotal roles besides Shah Rukh Khan.
