₹The upcoming action film Fighter is all geared up to release in the global theatres on Thursday, January 25. This highly anticipated movie features Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in crucial roles. Meanwhile, the film has begun with its advance bookings in the overseas markets which has marked a record-breaking number.
Around a week ahead of the grand release of Fighter, the pre-sales of the film have reportedly surpassed the $100,000 mark (₹ 83,00,000), as per the industry tracker Sacnilk’s report. Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures’ co-produced film, Fighter is going to open its advance booking window in India on Saturday, January 20.
According to a trade analyst Nishit Shaw, the movie has sold over 300 tickets across several shows around the world. Shaw shared an X post on Thursday, “Fighter has sold 342 tickets at VOX (UAE) across 97 shows so far. Yas Mall Abu Dhabi leading with 180 tickets, CC Deira with 33 tickets, Burjuman with 32.”

Siddharth Anand-helmed Fighter is an aerial action thriller movie, inspired by the Balakot Air Strike which was conducted by the Indian Air Force. This is Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand’s third film together after Bang Bang and War.
According to the media reports, the film narrates the events during the time of 2019 Pulwama attack on the Indian Army. Besides Hrithik, Deepika, and Anil Kapoor in crucial roles, the movie features an ensemble cast of Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles.
The movie was scheduled to release in September 2022. However, the film experienced delays and was rescheduled to January 2023, aligning with the release of Pathaan featuring Shah Rukh Khan. Pathaan was also directed by Siddharth Anand.
