English singer Ed Sheeran, who is currently in India for his upcoming performance in Mumbai this weekend, seems to be soaking in local vibes ahead of his mega show. The global star is having the time of his life in the country and the video that surfaced recently on the Internet is the proof. It shows Ed grooving to Allu Arjun's Butta Bomma track from the Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo film. Indian singer-musician Armaan Malik also joined the global icon to perform the song's signature step.
The video of Ed Sheeran was posted by Armaan, who sang the Butta Bomma song. As the video nears its ending, the duo is also seen striking the quintessential Shah Rukh Khan pose. Accompanying the video was a cute caption that read, “Favourite person in my city.”
On March 12, Ed Sheeran also dropped a video of himself from a Mumbai school where he interacted with students. He was also seen enjoying a special performance organised by the students for him. Ed sat on the floor watching the students showcase their talents.
He, then, sang his smash hit Shape of You. In the video, he says, “So I just arrived in Mumbai in India. We're going to be visiting some schools today, playing some songs. I heard the kids have something prepared for me as well”.
Ed Sheeran is all set for his performance in India, a part of his Asia and Europe Tour in 2024. The India leg of this most anticipated tour will be the final stop for the singer in his Asia Tour. The concert will be held at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on March 16, 2024. It is the singer’s second visit to India after 2017.
