Bollywood singer Arijit Singh, who has sung several super hit songs in his career, has registered a new record to his name. The singer has crossed 100 million followers on popular music streaming platform Spotify.
Singh has accumulated over 10,01,12,088 followers, making him the only Indian to achieve the feat on Spotify. Globally, Arijit Singh is second, followed by Ed Sheeran, who is the most followed artist on the platform.
Although Arijit has been in the industry for a long time, he rose through the Spotify charts globally in the last year. He surpassed global artists, including Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish and Drake.
Currently, the top 25 songs chart of Spotify features seven of Arijit Singh’s songs.

On the third spot is Arijit’s Satranga from Animal. The song has been directed by Shreyas Puranik, while the lyrics have been written by Siddharth-Garima.
On the sixth is O Maahi from Dunki. Sung by Arijit, the song was written by Irshad Kamil and set to tunes by Pritam.
On the seventh is Chaleya by Arijit and Shilpa Rao from Jawan. The song was composed by Anirudh Ravichander and written by Kumaar.
Heeriye by Arijit Singh and Jasleen Royal stands in the tenth position. It was written by Aditya Sharma and composed by Jasleen Royal.
Apna Bana Le from Bhediya, sung by Arijit Singh and Sachin-Jigar, is ranked 13th on the Spotify chart.
Kesariya from Brahmastra, sung by Arijit Singh, has been leading the chart in the 19th position. The song was written by Amitabh Bhattacharya while the music was composed by Pritam.
On the 23rd rank is Lutt Putt Gaya from Dunki.
