The Ranbir Kapoor starrer action drama Animal has been in the theatres for the past two weeks and besides becoming a movie surrounded by controversies on its misogynistic and excessively violent scenes, the movie has been drawing major attention of the audience in the cinemas. As per early estimated data from the industry tracker Sacnilk.com, on the 14th day in theatres, Animal has minted ₹8.75 crore which makes the domestic net collection of the movie to ₹476.84 crore.
After getting a massive opening across the country with ₹63.8 crore, Animal banged at the box office. Following the pace, on its second Friday in cinemas, the movie garnered ₹22.95 crore including the collection from Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Although the movie entered into its third week with a slow pace and showed a significant drop, on Thursday, December 15, the movie amassed the box office.
According to the producer T-Series, Animal has made ₹772.33 crore in the global market. T-Series shared a post on X while captioning, “The box office beast Animal roars on.”

According to Sacnilk’s report, the film Animal on its fourteenth day has managed to get an overall occupancy of 14.75% in Hindi. Out of which, the occupancy rate in Mumbai stood at 15%, Delhi- National Capital Region at 17.25%, Pune at 19.25%, Bengaluru at 12.25% and Hyderabad at 15%.
Meanwhile, the movie has even surpassed Prabhas-starrer Baahubali 2’s 20-day collection in Hindi which was ₹450 crore mark. However, the film has broken the records of Pathaan, Gadar 2 and Baahubali 2, it has failed to cross Jawan which collected ₹450 crore in just 11 days.
However, the film marks to be Ranbir Kapoor’s highest grossing film and is the third grossing Indian film worldwide this year. Besides Ranbir Kapoor, the film features Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Shakti Kapoor in crucial roles.
The Sandeep Reddy Vanga helmed Animal has been backed by Bhusan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga, krishan Kumar and Murad Khetani under T-series, Bhadrakali Pictures and Cine1 Studios.
