Actor Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Friday, March 15. The 81-year-old has reportedly undergone an angioplasty for a clot in his leg. The actor was “treated for peripheral, and not coronary heart,” News18 reported citing a source.
Bachchan took to X on Friday to express his gratitude. Big B also expressed gratitude in a post on his blog. "Ever in gratitude for all your prayers and love. Ever in gratitude for the grace of your affection. Ever in gratitude for your continuity. Love and more later," his blog post read.

Any official statement on the actor's health is yet to be released.
Bachchan has faced numerous health concerns in recent years.
In 2023, Bachchan suffered an injury during the shoot of his upcoming film Kalki 2989 AD in Hyderabad. He said his "rib cartilage popped broke" and muscle tore "to the right rib cage". Bachchan will be seen in Ashwin Nag's directorial also starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani. The film is slated to release in May.
