Prabhas-Deepika Padukone's 'Kalki 2898 AD' gets a new release date

Besides, the lead actor of the film, Prabhas shared the same poster on Instagram. He wrote, “The countdown to the future has begun! Kalki 2898 AD in theatres worldwide on 9th May 2024.”

Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ features Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. As per the previous media reports, it's going to be a multilingual film as it has been shot in Hindi and Telugu languages.

Since the announcement of the film, it has been an intriguing project for the public as it was previously presented as ‘Project K’. The official title ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ was announced by the production banner at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) event in July 2023. As per the first glimpse shared at the SDCC event, Deepika, Prabhas and Amitabh were seen as warriors in a battleground set in the backdrop of a futuristic world.
