The month of February is going to be important for the candidates preparing for government jobs. Several central and state government job exams are scheduled to be held next month. The important exams coming up in February include GATE, SSC GD Constable Recruitment, OSSC Junior Clerk, BARK DAE, and UIIC Assistant, among others.

GATE 2024
The Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering or the GATE 2024 exams is scheduled to be conducted by the IISc Bangalore starting from February 3. As per the release, the exams will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11.
The GATE 2024 examination will be held in CBT mode (Computer Based Test), wherein the questions are expected to be designed in three different segments. The segments will be MCQs, NATs, and MSQs. As per the official notification, the result will be declared by March 16, 2024.
SSC GD Recruitment 2024
The Staff Selection Commission’s General Duty recruitment drive is willing to fill up vacancies of up to 26,146 in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF (Secretariat Security Force), and Rifleman in Assam Rifles. As per the official notification, the examination is scheduled to begin on February 20 and will conclude on March 12.
As per the recruitment drive details, the examination will be conducted in stages which include a written test, a physical efficiency test, and a medical examination of the selected ones.
OSSC Junior Clerk Recruitment 2024
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the notification for the post of Junior Clerk cum Typist. As many as 32 vacancies are aimed to be filled through the recruitment drive. As per the official schedule, the examination is going to be conducted on February 4.
According to the notification, the examination will be held in two stages which include a written exam having preliminary and main exams. The second phase of the exam will be based on the skill test. It includes a typing test and a basic computer skill test.
BARC DAE Recruitment 2024
The Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) has announced plans to recruit a junior purchase assistant and junior storekeeper in the department. As many as 62 vacancies in the department have been announced.
As per the official notification, the department has scheduled an examination for the registered candidates on February 4. However, the date of the result declaration is yet to be announced.
UIIC Assistant Recruitment 2024
The United India Insurance Company Limited has announced to conduct a recruitment drive for the 300 vacant seats. As per the announcement, the examination for the same is going to be held on February 6.
According to the notification, the examination will be conducted in two phases-- an online examination and a regional language test.
