The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the UGC NET Result 2023 for the December session on Wednesday (January 17).
Eligible candidates can check their scores on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. They can also visit nta.ac.in in case of any query.

The UGC NET December 2023 exams were held from December 6-19, 2023. The exams were held in 83 subjects across 292 cities in the country. As many as 9,45,918 candidates appeared for the test.
The NTA released the provisional answer key for the exam on January 3, while the objection window was closed on January 5. For the archaeology subject, the answer key was released on January 8 and on January 10 the objection window was closed.
To check the results for the UGC NET December 2023 exam, candidates will have to provide their login credentials, including their application number and date of birth.
How to check UGC NET December 2023 result:
Step 1. Visit the official website of UGC Net, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2. On the home page, click on the UGC NET Result 2023 link once available.
Step 3. Enter your application number and date of birth. Click the Submit button.
Step 4. Your result will be displayed on the screen.
Step 5. Download a copy for future reference.
As per the University Grants Commission (UGC), two marks were assigned to each question in the UGC NET December 2023 exam, while there was no negative marking.
UGC NET, which is held twice a year in June and December, determines the eligibility of candidates for the Assistant Professor as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in all universities and colleges across the country.
Candidates, who qualify only for the Assistant Professorship, are not eligible to be considered for the JRF.
