Tresa Motors, an Indian original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specialising in medium and heavy electric trucks, is recruiting over 100 senior and mid-level engineering professionals. The company is aiming to hire from major industry giants such as Daimler, Tata, Volvo, and other prominent OEMs.

The firm said the hiring drive is for the company's expansion goals. With the hiring and expansion, the company aims to establish state-of-the-art manufacturing and R&D facilities, with Karnataka and Tamil Nadu emerging as the top contenders.
The company's focus remains within the medium-to-heavy electric vehicle segment, underlining its dedication to providing sustainable solutions that cater to India's evolving transportation needs. Tresa Motors has no plans to enter the light commercial vehicle (LCV) market, emphassiing its commitment to a sustainable future.
Tresa Motors said the firm unveiled its electric truck, the Model V0.0, on July 3, 2023, and V0.1 on September 7, 2023. In September 2023, Tresa Motors also introduced the FLUX 350, a cutting-edge platform which incorporates a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Axial Flux Motor, offering an exceptional torque-to-weight ratio and efficient power delivery, ideally suited for heavy-duty applications like electric trucks, the company said in a media release.
"We aim to infuse our team with top talent from industry leaders like Daimler and Alstom. These seasoned professionals will be the driving force behind our quest to transform India's electric trucking industry. We are not just expanding our team; we are expanding our vision for a greener, more efficient future of transportation in India." said Rohan Shravan, Founding CEO of Tresa Motors, said.
