The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the Selection Post Phase 12 notification on Monday to recruit candidates for various vacant posts. According to the official notification, candidates can apply online through the official website at ssc.gov.in for the offered posts.
The application window to register candidates will be closed on March 18. The candidates can pay the application fee until 11 pm on March 19. The application correction window will be operational between March 22 to 24. As per the schedule, the examination is expected to be held between May 6 to 8.

The recruitment drive aims to fill as many as 2,049 vacant posts under different disciplines. It includes programme assistants, upper division clerks, and library and information assistants among several others.

The eligibility criteria for the SSC Selection Post vary depending on the specific post that one is applying for. However, the general eligibility requirements include educational qualification of 10th, 12th, or Graduate degree (as per the post requirement).
The age limit to apply for the SSC Selection Post is 18-30 years. However, there will be relaxations for the reserved categories.
SSC Selection Post 2024 Phase 12: Application Fees
Candidates, besides women and the ones belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and ex-servicemen (ESM), have to pay an application fee of ₹100.
Candidates under the reserved category are exempted from payment of any application fee.

Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.
Click on the ‘Register’ link on the homepage.
Select the post as per the eligibility and proceed with the application process.
Fill out the form, upload documents, and pay the application fee (as per the category).
Review and click on ‘Submit’.
Download and keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.
