The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the Tier 1 results of the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2023 examination on September 19. Along with the results, the SSC CGL Tier 1 merit list has also been released. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can access their SSC CGL Tier 1 2023 results on the official website of the State Selection Commission at ssc.nic.in.

The Staff Selection Commission conducted the SSC CGL Tier 1 2023 examination from July 14 to July 27, 2023, at different exam centres across the country. The SSC CGL Tier 2 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held from October 25 to 27, 2023.
SSC CGL Tier 1 2023 Result: How to check?
  • Open the official website of the State Selection Commission at ssc.nic.in.
  • Go to the Result Tab on the homepage.
  • Select the “Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-1) 2023” result link.
  • Search for the candidates' name or roll number in the PDF file.
  • Download the PDF file of the merit list for future reference.
  • However, the SSC has said that the results of 113 candidates who have appeared for the SSC CGL Tier-1 2023 exam have been withheld due to various court orders. In the list, the roll numbers of the withheld candidates have been mentioned.
    Meanwhile, the candidates who have qualified in the SSC CGL Tier 1 2023 exam are eligible to appear for the Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 examination is a descriptive test, which includes four papers – English Language and Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, General Intelligence and Reasoning and Computer Proficiency test.
    Apart from the results, the SSC CGL 2023 merit list released by the commission has the cut-off list for the post of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer, Junior Statistical Officer, Statistical Investigator Grade II and other posts. In the cut-off marks list of SSC CGL 2023, the authorities have considered the minimum qualifying marks in Tier 1.
    Candidates who belong to the unreserved category should get a minimum of 30 percent marks while the candidates from OBC or EWS categories need to score a minimum of 25 percent and for all other categories, the minimum qualifying mark is 20 percent.
