Following the thrilling India vs New Zealand World Cup match at Wankhede Stadium, football legend David Beckham engaged in a conversation with actor Sara Ali Khan at the Meta office in Mumbai. Their dialogue touched upon a myriad of subjects, ranging from the delicate balance between work and life to Beckham's Netflix documentary, viral discussions surrounding his wife Victoria’s ‘working class’ claims, and his remarkable journey as an athlete.

Clips capturing snippets of their interaction have made rounds on social media since then. They also discussed the challenges of maintaining a work-life balance as a global celebrity, expressing concern about being perceived solely as a public figure.
Sara said, addressing Beckham, said, “If one is as big a celebrity as you are, it could get difficult to be seen as a human being. There is so much glamour, there is so much pressure that sometimes it’s difficult to see who you are and I think for your family and children, there is this beautiful personal peace.”
Beckham responded, “Thank you for saying that and I don’t think it has been explained and talked about like this. It’s a perfect description,” Beckham replied.
Reflecting on his ascent to stardom from modest beginnings, Beckham offered insights into his parents' industrious backgrounds. "My mum was a hairdresser, tirelessly working until she was 70, and my father, a gas fitter, worked until he was 75. They are hardworking people," he disclosed.
The football legend also addressed a lighthearted incident from his Netflix documentary, where he playfully disrupted his wife Victoria Beckham's assertion of a "working-class" background. Recounting the scene, he explained the spontaneity of the moment and the comedic aspect of their exchange.
Renowned for his illustrious career with Manchester United and Real Madrid, Beckham, currently on his inaugural visit to India as UNICEF's goodwill ambassador, reflected on his journey and shared glimpses of his personal and familial experiences.
