Prime Minister Narendra Modi, via video conferencing on September 26, Tuesday, distributed 51,000 appointment letters to fresh recruits who have been welcomed into various government departments and organisations through the Rozgar Mela.

During the event, PM Modi reaffirmed India's commitment to achieve the status of a developed country by 2047, emphasizing the country's trajectory towards becoming the third-largest global economy in the coming years.
In a heartfelt address, the Prime Minister extended his congratulations to the freshly appointed recruits, particularly commending the substantial representation of women among them. He underlined the pivotal role played by women across different domains, citing achievements in areas such as space exploration and sports. The Prime Minister expressed immense pride in the remarkable accomplishments of these Indian daughters and their significant contributions to society.
"Aaj Bharat ki betiya space se sport tak anek keertimaan bana rahi hain'... Women have always brought change in several fields, with a new energy," said Modi.
During his address, Prime Minister Modi emphasised that the addition of millions of young individuals to the government workforce would accelerate policy implementation and enhance its reach.
"When millions of youth like you join government services, the speed and scale of implementing policies also increase," added Modi.
The Rozgar Mela is currently being conducted at 46 locations nationwide, with recruitments taking place in both Central and State Government departments as well as Union Territories. The new recruits will join various ministries and departments, including but not limited to the Department of Posts, Indian Audit & Accounts Department, Department of Atomic Energy, Department of Revenue, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, among others.
The newly appointed individuals will have the opportunity to undergo training through the Karmayogi Prarambh program, accessible on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This platform offers more than 680 e-learning courses in an 'anywhere, any device' format to facilitate their development and skill enhancement.
