The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 1.

Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main 2024 exam can check their results on the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates will have to provide their application number and date of birth to see their results.
The first session was held on January 24, 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, while a total of 12,31,874 candidates had registered for both papers of JEE Main, including 8,24,945 males and 4,06,920 females. Out of the total candidates, 12,25,529 had appeared for the examination this year.
On January 24, Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) was held, while on the result day, Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) was conducted by the National Testing Agency.
This year, the exam was held in 13 languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Outside India, it was conducted in 21 cities which included Manama, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, Singapore, Kuwait City, Kuala Lumpur, Lagos/Abuja, Colombo, Jakarta, Moscow, Ottawa, Port Louis, Bangkok, and Washington DC.
In total, the National Testing Agency conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024 Session 1 across 544 Centres in 291 cities, including 21 cities outside India.
JEE Main 2024: How to check the result
Step 1. Open the official website of the NTA JEE Main examination at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the session one result link.
Step 3. A new window will open. Provide your application number and date of birth. Click Submit/Next.
Step 4. Your result will appear on your screen. Take a printout of it for future reference.
This year, the JEE (Main) 2024 Session 1 examination was conducted in 11 shifts. This time, the number of candidates who registered for the exam was 27% higher compared to the previous year. Last year, a total of 8,60,064 candidates had registered for Paper 1 and 96,279 for Paper 2.
The JEE (Main) 2024 session two is slated to be held from April 4 to 15.
