The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to open the application form correction window of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2024 session 1 today, December 6. After the opening of the correction window, candidates will be allowed to edit information or make corrections on their submitted application form till December 8. To make changes to the application form, the candidates can visit the official site of JEE Mains at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
The application submission window of JEE Main 2024 session 1 was closed on December 4. The application submission deadline was November 30, but it was extended later to Dec 4.
During the JEE Main 2024 form correction process, candidates can make changes to certain information provided while filling out the IIT JEE Main application form. However, candidates must note that changes in the primary information provided in the JEE Main Registration 2024 will not be allowed.
Besides, the candidate will be charged a fee for making changes to their application forms. Additionally, no modification will be allowed after the deadline and the details represented in the form will be considered final for JEE Main 2024 exam.

As per the official notification, the details that can be corrected in the form include the father’s and mother’s names, category, sub-category, city, and preferred medium. It also includes Classes 10 and 12 qualification details. However, certain details such as mobile number, email address, permanent address, and correspondence address can’t be changed.
Meanwhile, the candidates will have to pay an additional fee depending on specific corrections such as changing categories, opting for multiple papers, and modifying the exam centre location.
How to do corrections in JEE Main 2024 application form?
The JEE Main 2024 session 1 examination will be held from January 24 to February 1, to select candidates for admission into NITs, IITs, and other participating engineering colleges. The examination will also be shortlisting the candidates for the IIT JEE Advanced exam.
