In the coming month of December, several exams for important government jobs are lined up, including IBPS SO Prelims, BPSC CCE Mains, and PGCIL Diploma Trainee exams, among others. The exams for government jobs will be conducted by various state and Central government bodies to recruit candidates for different vacant posts.
Here is a brief look at some of the important government jobs scheduled in December 2023:
IBPS SO 2023 Prelims
The Preliminary exams for the IBPS Specialist officer (SO) recruitment have been scheduled for December 30 and 31. This exam will be held to select candidates for 1,402 vacancies across the country.
The IBPS SO 2023 Mains exams have been scheduled for January 28, 2024.
BPSC CCE Mains
The 69th BPSC CCE Mains examinations are conducted from November 27 to December 6. The BPSC Exam 2023 is being undertaken to recruit candidates for over 475 vacant posts in different departments under the Bihar government.
The Preliminary Written exam was held on September 20 and the qualified candidates are eligible to appear for the Mains examination.
Punjab Haryana High Court Stenographer
The computer-based test (CBT) of the Punjab Haryana High Court Stenographer is going to take place on December 16. The exam will be held for a total vacancy of 7 posts in the Punjab Haryana High Court. The admit card for the same will be made available to the applicant on December 8.

The candidates applying for the post are going to be selected on the basis of the computer-based test, shorthand test and spreadsheet test.
PGCIL Diploma Trainee
The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced a total of 425 vacancies for the Diploma Trainee post in different disciplines. The examination for the same will be taking place on December 5.
Previously, the PGCIL Diploma Trainee exam was scheduled for November 24, which was then re-scheduled by the administration.

OPSC Ayurvedic Medical Officer
The Odisha Public Service Commission has released a notification for the recruitment of candidates to the post of Ayurvedic Medical Officer in the 116 vacant seats across the state. The written exam for the OPSC Ayurvedic Medical Officer will be taking place on December 3.
As per the official notification, the candidates for the post are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine or an equivalent degree from a recognised university.
