The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, will be closing the online application process for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) today, September 29. Candidates can apply online for the GATE 2024 exam by submitting the form through the official website of IISc GATE 2024 at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
As per the official notification, applicants who will miss to apply within the given deadline can submit their applications for GATE 2024 exam till the extended last date, which is October 13. However, the candidates will have to pay a late fee of Rs 500.
GATE 2024 exam has been scheduled to take place on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2024. The results of the same are going to be out on March 16, 2024.
The applicants can make changes to their application forms from November 7 to November 11. Following this the GATE 2024 admit cards will be released on January 3, 2024.
GATE 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates who are currently studying in the third or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or who have already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture/Science/Commerce/Arts/Humanities are eligible to appear for GATE 2024 registration.
GATE 2024: Application fees
As per the notification, the application fees for registering in GATE 2024 exam is Rs 1,800. However, female candidates and individuals from SC, ST, and PwD categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 900.
