The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE). As per the official notification issued by DPCC, the non-recommended candidates of the Engineering Service Examination (ESE) 2022 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) can apply for the vacant posts.
As per the notification, DPCC will fill up the vacant ‘Group- A’ posts of Assistant Environmental Engineers (AEE). The total of 38 vacant seats includes 5 posts for the Scheduled Caste applicants (SC), 2 for the Scheduled Tribes (ST), 10 for the Other Backward Classes (OBC), 3 for the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and the rest 18 vacant seats for the unreserved candidates.

The selected candidates for the AEE vacancies will get a salary in a pay band of ₹15,600 to ₹39,100 along with the Grade Pay of ₹5,400 in the pre-revised pay scale.
According to the notification, the merit list of the non-recommended candidates for the Engineering Service Examination (ESE) 2022, which is available on the UPSC’s official site, will be used to recruit the Group A posts of AEE.
The candidates to apply for the post are required to provide an updated resume or CV in the prescribed format made available on the DPCC official website at dpcc.delhigovt.nic.in. The applications will be accepted within the 30 days since the release of the official notification. Besides, any additional information regarding the vacant post and the recruitment drive is available on the website under the section ‘Office Order and Circulars’.

The candidates need to send their applications along with an updated CV to the Administrative Branch, DPCC, 5th Floor, Kashmere Gate, ISBT Building, Delhi, 110006.
