CUET UG 2024 registration to start soon; check exam date, eligibility and how to apply

According to the notification, there is no age limit to appear for the CUET UG examination. However, the unreserved candidates registering for CUET UG 2024 are required to have qualified Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates belonging to the reserved category of SC and ST can apply with a minimum of 45% marks in class 12.

Once the registration window to apply for the CUET UG 2024 examination is opened, candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to register themselves.

Click on the link ‘CUET UG 2024 Registration’ on the homepage.

Fill out the online application form with relevant details.

Upload the required documents and pay application fees as per the category and subjects selected.

Review the application and click ‘Submit’.

Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for future reference.

According to the previously released notification, the CUET UG 2024 question set will consist of three sections. It will have Section 1A, Section 1B, Section 2, and Section 3. It will have questions from different languages, domain-specific subjects, and general tests as well.

Each question in the set will carry 5 marks, while every incorrect answer will be deducted 1 mark each, and the unanswered question will be given zero marks.

The CUET UG 2024 examination will be in CBT format, offering 13 languages such as English, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Urdu.

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) aiming to admit candidates in undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at different central universities and other institutions.

This year more than 250 universities, including central, state, deemed, and private institutions, will be admitting students based on their performance in this examination.
