The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) January examination on January 21, 2024. The board is anticipated to release the provisional answer key shortly, which candidates can access by logging into the examination website, ctet.nic.in. In addition to the answer key, CBSE will also upload scanned images of candidates' OMR sheets.

The CTET provisional answer key 2024 will be accompanied by scanned images of candidates' OMR Answer Sheets and an online objection link. Using their login credentials, candidates can retrieve both the CTET OMR Sheet 2024 and the answer keys. However, candidates wishing to dispute the provisional answer keys must log in to raise objections. To challenge the CTET answer key, a fee of Rs 1,000 per challenge is applicable, and candidates must provide relevant evidence to support their claims.

Candidates can raise objections against the CTET answer key for 2024 by following these steps:
STEP 1: Visit the official website at ctet.nic.in.
STEP 2: Access the answer key link.
STEP 3: Enter the roll number and date of birth.
STEP 4: Click on the link for submitting challenges.
STEP 5: Choose the question to be challenged.
STEP 6: Use the 'Click to Enter Your Answer' link.
STEP 7: Select the correct answer option.
STEP 8: Click on the 'Update' link and finalise the challenge.
STEP 9: Pay the Rs 1,000 fee per CTET answer key objection.
STEP 10: Submit and save the confirmation page.
The board stated that challenges would be reviewed, and if accepted by subject experts, a policy decision would be made, and the fee would be refunded in case of identified mistakes.
Approximately 27 lakh candidates registered for the CTET January examination, with around 9.58 lakh for paper 1 (Class 1-5) and approximately 17.35 lakh for paper 2 (Class 6-8). As in previous years, the board is expected to provide marks sheets and certificates through DigiLocker.
