CAT 2023 registration last date extended to September 20: Check how to apply and other details

Candidates for different postgraduate and Fellow/Doctorate programmes at all IIMs are selected through the CAT exam.

The CAT 2023 exam will be conducted in three sections Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA).

To register for the CAT 2023 exam, candidates must have completed their graduation with at least 50 percent marks or equivalent. Additionally, the candidates with professional degrees such as CA/CS/ICWA/Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) and the required percentage of marks can apply for the CAT 2023.

Applicants from SC/ST/PwD categories will be charged a registration fee of Rs 1,200, while the applicants from the other categories will have to pay Rs 2,400 to complete the registration process.

Enter the required registration details and click on “Submit”.

Login to the account and fill up the application form with all required details.

Pay the application fees and upload the necessary documents.

Click on “Submit”.

Download the receipt and keep a hard copy for future reference.

As per the official notification, the admit card for IIM CAT 2023 will be released on October 25 and the examination will be held on November 26, 2023. The CAT 2023 examination will be conducted in different test centres across the country. However, the applicants for the exam will be given the option to select any of the six cities for their exam centres.
