Bihar Police SI Recruitment 2023: Registration for 1,275 posts starts today, check how to apply

As the job requires physical activity, the candidates are needed to be healthy and fit. Male candidates belonging to the General category are required to have a height of 165 cm and a chest width should be of 81 cm and 86 (after inhaling). Apart from that, other male candidates from OBC, EBC, SC and ST categories should be at least 160 cm tall. However, candidates of OBC and EBC categories should have chest measurements similar to that of General candidates while for the SC and ST categories, the chest measurements should be 79 cm and 84 (after inhaling). Female candidates are required to have a height of 155 cm and a weight of 48 kg.

The minimum age of the male candidates in the General category should be 20 years while the maximum age should be 37 years. The minimum age of the women candidates from the General category should be 20 years and the maximum age should be 40 years.

The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 42 years for men and women from the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and transgender categories.
