The National Testing Agency has opened the correction window for any revision to the online application of the UGC-NET 2023 exam. It has been opened from today, November 1, and the candidates can make necessary changes to their applications for the December exam until November 3 on the official website of UGC-NET at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
“All the registered candidates for the examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make corrections in their particulars, in their respective Online Application Form, if required,” read the official notification by NTA.
The notice further mentions the criteria for making changes to the application form.
According to the notification, the particulars that can be edited may vary for the candidates depending on whether they have verified their Aadhaar or not. The candidates who have verified their Aadhaar number cannot make any changes to their mentioned mobile number, email address, or permanent address and correspondence address. The students can log in to the UGC-NET official website using their registration details to make any changes to their application forms.
Additionally, they cannot make any changes in the candidate's name, date of birth, gender and photo. However, they can make changes in the father's name or mother's name (either of one only).
On the other hand, the candidates who have not verified their Aadhaar can make changes in either their own name or father's name or mother's name (only one of them).
The UGC-NET examination has been scheduled to be conducted from December 6 to December 22, 2023. The online submission of the application form closed on October 31.
As per the recent details, the city of the exam centre will be announced soon in the last week of November. Following the same, candidates will be made available with the admit cards which can be downloaded from the NTA website in the first week of December 2023.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the UGC-NET examination to determine the eligibility of the applicants for the posts of 'Assistant Professor' and 'Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor' in universities and colleges. The National Testing Agency will conduct UGC - NET December 2023 for 'Junior Research Fellowship' and for 'Assistant Professors' in 83 subjects. The exam will be conducted via the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
