Star Cement along with its subsidiaries has received around Rs 80 crore towards subsidies claim from the central government. This amount likely to be utilised for pre-payment of loans, said Sanjay Gupta, CEO, Star Cement.
We were expecting more than Rs 80 crore by end of March," said Gupta. "This is an instalment, which we were supposed to receive in March but it got delayed and, therefore we received it in the month of April.
