Government to decide on borrowing calendar for second half of FY19 today
The government on Friday will announce its borrowing calendar for the second half of financial year 2019.
The government had budgeted to borrow Rs 6.06 lakh crore from the market this year. It has borrowed 47.5 percent or Rs 2.88 lakh crore in the first half.
The government had said that Rs 50,000 crore will come from small savings and fewer buybacks.
