Direct tax collections slip 13% on YoY basis at Rs 5.87 lakh crore

The net direct tax collections – even after receiving the third installment of advance tax collections – look very dismal, according to sources. The net direct tax collection between April until December 17 are down by 13 percent at Rs 5.87 lakh crore.
