Can achieve $60 million worth of annual profits from Zambia project, says Nava Bharat Ventures
Nava Bharat Ventures has been buzzing off late, with the stock up 3 percent in trade right now. GRK Prasad, executive director of the company shared his views and outlook.
GRK Prasad, executive director, Nava Bharat Ventures said $60 million worth of annual profits from Zambia project is achievable.
“Zambia project has two units of 150 megawatt each. The units have been maintaining 100 percent availability for the last quarter also. So the profit number that you are talking about is an expected number $15 million per quarter,” he said.
“The debt which got started at $590 million now stands at $500 million, $90 million stands repaid. Around $60 million gets repaid every year,” said Prasad.
"We are looking at selling assets in Odisha and other places and have debt of Rs 400 crore for India business," said Prasad.
