Budget 2020: Revenue secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey on new tax regime

Post the presentation of the Union Budget 2020 by Finance Minister (FM) Nirmala Sitharaman, revenue secretary Ajay Bhushan Pandey told CNBC-TV18, “One has to see how many exemptions one was taking because there are some people who do not take any exemptions so they will gain more. Those who are taking less exemptions, they will also gain. About 70 exemptions have been removed in the new regime.
